Christian Louboutin announced in April that he was putting his magic touch on Cinderella’s glass slippers. The French designer was commissioned by Disney to create his own version of the iconic shoes for the classic cartoon’s DVD re-launch this summer. Today, the first photo of the fairy tale shoes were released. These crystal covered fit for a princess shoes are already a favorite among Louboutin's fans.

Christian Louboutin celebrates 20 years of his famous red-soled shoes, Christian Louboutin has been dropping in on select retailers across the globe for a seemingly never-ending party. “In France, 20 years defines a generation,” Christian Louboutin said. “This is a celebration of the first generation of this brand.”

He made guest appearances at Saks Fifth Avenue at Bal Harbour where he autographed shoe purchases for fashionable fans.

In honor of the 20th anniversary, Louboutin has designed a capsule collection that includes the most iconic looks from the last two decades in this limited edition collection, available this month.
